Feb 2, 2020 I would agree it’s an unfair comparison and I would agree both are (potentially, so long as MTBMB withstands the test of time) classics. Not sure which I enjoy more, but I will say from a lyrical and skill perspective, MTBMB has the edge imo. The SSLP highs are different tho.. Rock Bottom, Role Model, SDGAF.. all time highs

Feb 2, 2020 I’m going to be 30 in a couple of months and have grown up witnessing every album release. MTBMB is good and possibly his 4th best but you’re crazy to think it touch’s any of his first 3 classics. It’s good but way too flawed to come close.

Feb 2, 2020 18 I dont think it's better, idk yet But I know I've been waiting for this album since like 2012 when his music started to shift after recovery So it feels so good to listen to, its everything I ever wanted him to add to his discography before he hung it up But I mean I would argue it's right there next to sslp for sure Just with songs like in too deep and those kinda nights, The only thing on sslp even remotely that mid is my fault

Feb 3, 2020 2 completely different Em’s. I’d say Slim Shady LP because he was fresh back then on the scene and that album is classic for sure. MTBMB is half good. Well have to see how they age in the long run.
Feb 6, 2020 I f---ing hate this forum sometimes, I swear, this s--- isn't debatable. TES,MMLP,SSLP are top 3 and that's it, stop f---ing debating that s--- whenever he puts out a project, however, the discussion for MTBMB being 4th is there.
