It weren’t for no reason though? The majority of people he dissed had criticized him or his music at least once or in some cases several times before he released the album.

He had no reason dissing Wayne or Kanye and was only going to diss them because he was on drugs and was jealous that they were making music and he weren’t that’s why he acknowledged it.

These rappers kids just said they didn't grow up on Eminem, or they said they weren't his fans. Is that a reason for diss?

He is just jealous of the streaming numbers of new rappers. This is ordinary envy. He made the right decision in 2010 and made a mistake in 2018.

I did not understand this Kamikaze album. It's like a diss against everything new, like look - I'm an old man and I hate little kids who rap

You forgot that in 2010 his album was 8 weeks in a row at #1 on the chart and all summer his singles were in Top 3. He didn’t even come close to this after 2010, not once. In 2014-2020, he was just at the bottom of his career.

Because it’s a s--- album compared to Revival. Coming high off a classic to give us some bs album with a Venom marketing song.

2nd peak does not mean hes top selling again, its peak in terms of quality material.

A few decent tracks on the album, this is not the second peak. The last 2 albums have completely failed.

    Kamikaze flop
    MTBMB flop
Revival - he didn’t even care about this album and did not do a promo. this album could be great.
    MMLP2 full trash.

After 2010, he did nothing the world could talk about. The maximum that he could do is for the rappers to start discussing over the course of a month about how old he was.
I remember how big Eminem Show was, even Encore (which I didn't like at first). What was expected Relapse and huge Recovery.
I could not experience anything like it after 2010. Each album failed for one reason or another.

I think he should release Recovery 2 or a similar album, or leave the stage forever and start releasing previously unreleased albums (Relapse 2) and tracks.

How many weeks was the album #1 on the charts? I think this is the main question, because I remember how many weeks there was Recovery, Eminem Show and even Encore.

Hatred on Kamiclassic will not be allowed.

Was the only good album after Recovery. MTBMB is a solid project too.

Who cares, that was 10 years ago, times have changed, what was popular then is not popular now. What matters is quality content which we got plenty of with these 2 albums.

But you can agree with me that when the entire summer of 2010, the Recovery album was #1 on the charts, this is a very big difference with all the other albums that failed on the charts and were at most 1 or 2 weeks in first place. This means that besides the most hardcore fans, no one else is interested in his music. All my friends who listened to Eminem in 2010 are not listening to him right now. Even I hardly listen to him. Music is no longer the same dope as it was in those days. The numbers in the streaming are not as large as those of other new artists.

I’m 26 and I feel old bc it’s like seeing a car crash when I see a Recovery era born Eminem fan. It creeps me the f--- out honestly.

I remember growing up in section 8 housing so I didn’t have money for luxury items for a cd. One of my first cds I was given as a gift was the Slim Shady LP when I was a kid. I just don’t understand new age fans

Old music bothers too. Eminem began to make rap worse than 10 years ago. I now prefer listening to new rap more than Eminem. Man, I’m almost 30 years old, but I don’t feel pleasure when I listen to new tracks of those rappers whom I listened to as a child and when I was a teenager.

It gives me much more pleasure to listen to new rap from new artists. New rappers make dope music. Why does Eminem hate them so much? He had to do collaborative tracks with new artists in order to support hip-hop culture. 10 years ago and 20 years ago, he had no problems making joint tracks with rappers that were relevant at that time. And this is the reason why the track with Juice WRLD is his only big hit in the last 10 years. He could do more music with new artists.

Just listen, this rap ballad is better than everything that Eminem has done over the past 10 years. When I turn on this track, I understand that rap is still alive. When I play Eminem’s new tracks, I understand that rap is more dead than alive.

I want to live and listen to live rap. Why isn't Eminem doing something like that now? He was so energetic in the first 10 years of his career (2000-2010), so he was on the top of the charts for so long.

He is old as me. And this track is better than the entire Kamikaze album. This is a classic. This is a classic of our day. Eminem doesn't make classics these days.

I would rather hear a rap album now, where Eminem will rap with new artists such as Dababy, NLE Choppa, Lil Tecca & others, than Kamikaze, where they diss them for no reason. And this is what he himself said in the track "Talkin 2 myself", 10 years ago.
