Fame... ame... ame...
So I relistened to their 'Return Of The Dozen 2' tape, that 'Devil's Night' mixtape and 'Stepping Stone' by the one and only.
D12 is over. Em said that. But is it?
Em said it's over after a few years of group existence. Chuck D said Flavor is out of Public Enemy and they dropped a new single just like that - TOGETHER.
So there's still a chance for that 3rd D12 studio album, rite?
Mr. Porter aka Hot Dog Water is pretty decent producer, Kuniva and Swifty are okay rappers, ignore that Fuzz Scooter or whatever his name is, he's like Will Ferrell in The Office, just a lil nice detail... but not really a part of the group. Biz is just Biz, essential, but not needed tbh.
Just keep Em, Swifty, Kuniva and Porter on board and we have a decent D12 project.
If these 4 D Boys dropped a 10 song tape, boy...
I believe this gon happen sooner or later.BlueWorldOrder, Mothrfckr, Mudkip and 6 others like this. -

The myth that when proof died so did D12 is bs. Fame as you mentioned is prime example of Eminem representing D12. Hit me with your best shot was supposed to be on recovery, he still toured with them in 2011. In 2009 in the rap city interview he mentions how they have a special bond, growing up together, D12 would have a new album and carry on. Clearly Eminem drifted in his personal life once Royce and him essentially moved in together.
Em ditching D12 is some fake hoe s--- perpetrated by royce I feel. The second slaughterhouse formed, it was done. Its like royce and d12 cant coexist in Eminem's circle. Royce has been the biggest yes man to Eminems worst s--- standing by for revival and mmlp2. Atleast D12 made good songs. I can't think of a single slaughterhouse song I've ever wanted to go back and listen too. Overrated because they rap super technical and boring af.
Kuniva and swift are more entertaining than any slaughterhouse members verses are to listen to and bizarre has more memorable lines than the entire slaughterhouse discog. Kunivas biggest mistake was reuniting Eminem and Royce. Imagine the garbage we could've avoided
I feel like w nerdy stans who dickride em, but hate d12 are scared of black peopleemanisbetter, Spatula, Marshall III and 4 others like this. -

remember when he said on sway kamikaze interview that although d12 was over he would help them with the solo careers? lol.
swift & kuniva have both released stuff since then and em/paul didn't even retweet their s--- on twitter. kinda feel bad for them especially kunvia since he basically got royce & em back together and now he's completely forgotten. -

Unfortunately, their train left...
They had the last chance to release an album with Eminem in 2010-2011. Eminem last time said that he was recording the 3rd album of the group in 2009 for an interview with MTV. It has been 11 years since Eminem talked about recording an album with D12.
I don’t think this album is needed right now with new tracks. It would be better if they released 3rd album, which will be composed of the tracks that they recorded in 2005-2010, including several tracks with Proof (they promised to release this content in 2007).
I was a big fan of this group, but after 2014 I realized that it was all over. 10 years - this was enough to understand that the past can no longer be returned.
The label has many unreleased albums that have been recorded, including 3rd D12 album, 3rd Obie Trice album (Shady version), Relapse 2, King Mathers, StAtlanta (Shady/Aftermath version), Loose Cannon LP (Shady version), Street King Immortal (Shady/Aftermath version) and possibly others.
I don’t think that all these albums that were ready were so terrible that they couldn’t be released sometime for the fans. See how many 2Pac albums were released after death, the same thing Shady Records label can do. -

Eminem was supposed to release a track with D12 on Relapse 2, but the album was canceled, just as any collaboration between Eminem and D12 was canceled.
Eminem could tell Interscope to renew the contract with D12 in 2011, instead he signed Royce and his camp.
All these mixtapes don't really matter. Eminem did not make a single official release with D12 after the death of Proof. He did not give them a single chance in order to release a release with them for the mainstream audience. And at the same time, he released many official releases on the major label with Royce. He did so much for Royce after the death of Proof, but did nothing for D12. He betrayed the group founded by Proof. He betrayed the memory of Proof.
My attitude to Eminem changed dramatically after he stopped performing with D12 and did not release 3rd album with them. This happened after 2011. I think this is the main reason why so many old fans ceased to respect Eminem in the 2010s and hardly listen to his new releases.Ids5621, copius inhaled farts, Guma and 2 others like this. -

He is still in the group and cannot compose anything (writer's block). Then he says "f--- it. D12 is over."
Comes to underground and changes the style of clothing (Recovery era).
There he meets a black man and says who are you? He's like that - I'm Royce da five nine.
Then they kiss. At the end of the video, the two of them, like newlyweds, launch lighters into the sky. They merried.
A happy ending. -

Being a part of hip-hop helped him at the very beginning of Dre, D12 and 50. Without them, he simply became part of pop culture, like Britney Spears or Madonna. He is a great artist, but not hip-hop artist, just a pop artist, to be honest.Ids5621, The Moon Man, copius inhaled farts and 1 other person like this. -

Royce
- Has been a feature on 2 out of 3 of the D12 mixtape releases
- Has dropped verses on solo songs by Bizarre and Kuniva
- Had Mr. Porter as a feature on multiple projects
Eminem
- Has only dropped 2 verses on 3 D12 mixtapes
- The first was a song that leaked prior, the second was a s-----y freestyle thrown out just to make an appearance
- Never has a D12 group feature
- Never has a D12 bandmate feature*
- Never appears on anyone else's solo material
One of these guys is just a friend and former enemy. One of these guys is actually a member of D12.

Not gonna happen. He's had every opportunity to keep the group alive but has never done more than the absolute minimum. h---, he could have given them Relapse 2 when he switched directions, and the other guys could have just plugged their verses in.ThugLifer, Mothrfckr, THE LAST DANCE and 1 other person like this. -
