Jun 25, 2020It's a ridiculous name for a stadium and it's an empty gesture. Like why spend the money to buy the rights to name a stadium after the issue when you could just use that money to actually help with the issue? It's just a baffling choice all around.

Just feels like an empty platitude and performative type of action that doesn't stack up to the damage currently done by Amazon's carbon footprint right now.
But then again, it's better than nothing I guess in a vacuum? -

I mean it’s def better than not doing it and I’m happy they’re doing it renewable energy and such, but all it is is reputation laundering for Amazon and bezos. In the grande scheme of things...think about the size of Amazon as a company and its impact around the world vs a single sports venue:
