I understand the frustration, but most of us have been dealing with this close-mindedness for years lol.

Some posters choose to bash or troll, I just choose to ignore the section completely, until an interesting topic pops up.

However, most of the time, the discussion ends up the same lol.

I can respect everything about this post but its a different story when its obvious people hate just to hate and to troll Eminems "weak minded' fans some of the s--- people say in this section is so far out there positive and negative. Some people just come off just as or more awkward than the Stans do. To respond to what you said I agree with everything but would say hes had more than 16 good songs but some of the lows he hit since Relapse are really low or just way too painfully average.

I usually stick to the Sports Section, but I've been apart of this community since 2004 (on Rapbasement)

If Eminem fans were more rational, I think there'd be less "hate"

However, most Eminem fans blindly call this guy the GOAT, without venturing into different areas of rap music, whether past or present.

Most of the posters on RapBasement, StudioLeaks and S80 have good hip hop taste, and listen to a pretty vast majority of it.

It's pretty annoying watching fans that are so simple and close minded proclaim a rapper as the best, when he's clearly not.

My opinion on Eminem?

He's really good at rhyming words, he has flashes of greatness, but flashes of awful material. He's made MAYBE 15 good songs since 2004.

Do I think he's as awful as "haters" claim him to be? No. He was awful from 2004-2009 though (between his lazy writing on Encore, to his AWFUL accent on Relapse.)

But, since 2010, he's been painfully average. He sounds like a rapper with writing skills, who has a little bit more misses than hits when it comes to lyric-wise, but who hasn't been able to find the right sound for his music...

If he was a young rapper, I'd say he has potential... But, that's the problem.. He was one of, if not, the best rapper at one point in his career... He's 40 years old, and I view him as having "potential"

Now, if you love Eminem, that's FINE. Good for you (not directed towards you, but fans in general)

But please, don't call this guy the best when he's not. Listen to more hip hop. Become a fan of the GENRE, not an artist.

Yes ShadyXV was a Good Album it is One of my Favorites he spazzes out so much my fav tracks are PK and Vegas I love his funny lines about b------s sucking his d-ck and him killing people he is so Crazy I love it I Wish he makes music till he dies and produces more I heard he can hum good beats great thread I hope other people also join the discussion I hope relapse 2 leaks soon too this a request for that.

i just don't understand what happened to his flow. Say what you will about content, but his flow was absolutely perfect for a good 10 years (99 - 09), then suddenly it just fell to pieces. Fix the flow and another great solo album might just be possible.
