    @KanyeWest's 'DONDA' earned almost 100 million first day streams on the global Spotify chart, the second biggest album debut of all-time the revenue from spotify will keep kanye's's pockets full for about 10 years

    Jesus that Independent review is awful. The decision to bring in Manson was pretty f---in stupid and understandably off-putting for people, but to make that the focal point of the album, to where you literally refuse to move forward into reviewing the music itself is silly.

    Like you wanna be an activist that's fine but you are a music reviewer first.

    Come to Life is a perfect song. It might be my favorite of his ever. I’m guessing this is how you felt about The Ringer

    Na fr. I joke around a lot, but when I stop, just know there will be a whole lot of, "OMG. He's too big for us." goin' on. I got love for certain people, but others really put me in a rotten and sourpuss mood. Meh. Either way, this album is coo'. I just wish 16*29 would drop so I could disregard everybody else's music for a very long time.

    100% woulda been his best album of the past 10 years if it was down to 12 songs. Too many gems here

    Tbh best moments on this whole album is when there are non auto tune features. Jay Electronica, conway and West killed it. JayZ verse s----d. Kanye's rapping it's just so d--- boring. Lackluster production.

    If I was an altar boy maybe I would like this.

    This is really mid on second listen.

    That's the problem with a lot of Kanye's songs these days. They seem to drag and never reach their full potention. You hear something dope, but then it goes on and on and never gains momentum or reaches a climax. That or it switches direction completely and turns into something not as good.

    I haven't had a chance to listen to the album more than once yet. But from my first impression, there's too much singing and autotune. Songs that drag or had potential but could have been better. This doesn't even feel like a hiphop album. More like something you'd play in church.

    Can’t remember if I said this here yet but some of the sequencing on the “final” version is pretty bad, I agree with @Jet✞ after hearing it. might have ruined it for myself from making a comp lol but it feels like it’s on shuffle sometimes.

    honestly i feel like the material for 2 separate incredible albums is there but slapped together like this really seems to bring listening to it from start to finish down for me

    Can anyone who likes the album who is not a new Kanye fan tell me what they like about it? Despite saying a handful of songs are okay. Genuinely curious. I’m seeing mixed reviews and I’m honestly dazzled that some people think this is a good album.
    It seems like even melon is gonna give it a solid review.

    well it has honest Kanye moments, beautiful production sometimes, A1 features.. For me it is a bittersweet project tbh, feels like a Kanye album but again, since TLOP, I see the failed potential of a great album underneath a f---ing mess

    i think its a good album! wayy better than ye or jik and for tlop id have to relisten and think
    i just also think that as a singular album its bloated and flows weirdly, but it doesn't have a handful of okay songs, i'd say most are good with three or four gems, few are okay but boring and couple are totally a waste
