    Kind of a weird thread to post this in but I haven't been drunk in almost a year lol. I had 1 beer on a couple occasions when I first moved into my new apartment last may but other than that I haven't touched a drop of alcohol. Mostly started as wanting to save money and not being able to go out at first due to quar, but after awhile I was just kinda like "let's see how long I can do this for."

    I'm not saying I'm never gonna drink again or anything but I definitely feel way better. Alcohol really f---s with my sleep even if it's only a couple beers so that's been a big pro. I wanna make it at least a year even tho I know that's arbitrary.

    Good for you bro! honestly that's an accomplishment.

    I know we talked about sleep issues, I actually started taking shots at night so I can fall asleep lol. Not the best method but only thing I've found that works.

    jk I mean I do actually have a klonopin prescription but it's not for every day use. I don't wanna end up posting videos of me chain smoking in a hot tub like trent.

    I always liked Red Stipe, but like with most country's most popular domestic beer that gets exported it's not all that different from the rest.

    One time when I was 12 my dad was prescribed this s---, we went out to eat right. This dumb MFer popped one before we got our food :CHANCE:

    I can tell about half way thru this f---ing ruby tuesdays entree that he's f----- up :ummmm: this is not going to be good. I finish up whatever bs dogfood im eating and the waitress brings the receipt, my dad tries to flirt with her because he was a f---ing pervert but anyway he gives her the card and everything goes good until this MFers card ends up getting declined :kdotrly:. I'm so embarrassed right cause not only are we sitting here finished with this f---ing food and cant pay for it but my dads a broke a--- b---- and he's high as h--- :lol6:. The manager makes everything good right, he comes over and basically tells us we can just pay the $10 we have in cash and they "Found enough coupons" to get us off the hook. This whole time im thinking my dad finna be arrested again. So the manager tells us we good we can leave and my dad starts ARGUING with this MFer about how we didnt have any coupons :oprah: . I was perplexed by the stupidity. I manage to get him to understand and he's all like :kglaugh: "we should do this everytime" I'm like yeah aight druggie lets go to the car. We get in and I immediately fear for my life, this MFer cannot drive when hes SOBER. We get like half a mile down the road, mind you we are on CAPITAL BOULEVARD at like 7pm on a weeknight the traffic was HEAVY. We get in this left turning lane across the highway and im like :kevinhart::kevinhart::kevinhart: thats not the right direction, im asking like "where are we going thats not the way home" and he's all :stephena: "I know how to drive son" with me right. The light turns and green and this MFer goes STRAIGHT, we hit the curb I'm pretty sure I start yelling at him and before I know it blue lights and sirens hit us right. My dad was a c--- dealer for a while growing up so he knows how to play dumb with the police right, the cop comes up to the window like :policeok:How you guys doing tonight, and he sobers up within a millisecond, plays his cards right and manages to convince the cop to let us go under the condition he calls my uncle infront of him and he comes to drive us home. At this point im like :future2: aight uncle johnny who's probably already got some outstanding warrants is coming to save us. WRONG.

    My dad is telling my uncle where we at etc. and then the cop talks to him for a minute thru the phone, writes a ticket and starts walking away. The SECOND the cop leaves my dad just goes "Aight bo he's gone ill cya tomorrow" :CHANCE: whatchu mean tomorrow. My uncles just like aight cya at work and hangs up the phone :huh:The cop stays behind us for like 10 minutes until he finally leaves and the second he does my dad turns to me and goes :WELP: you gon have to drive son. Mind you im 12 and like 5'5. Anyway longs story short thats how I learned to drive, took me 2 hours to go like 30 miles in that s-----y F150. Dont do drugs b

    co-sign, i didnt drink for months when this began. then as ive stated previously i did a homebrew kit.
    now i have a pilsner ill do ONE (1) at night to get sleep, but thats it. oh and when i review snl for entertainment weekly (google it) ill sometimes have some mulled wine or a glass of bourbon. even then i feel so sluggish so def echo ur point about just feeling more present and alive booze-free.

    and yeah rly glad about the money ive saved, just feel stronger and more agile than i have in awhile
