    Honestly I would of gotten choked if he signed here ik he's from here but in that 2011 final he was pretty disrespectful to his hometown not because he won but because of some of the stuff he said about the fanbase. But free agency was a crapshoot we got Eriksson who completely s--- the bed this year

    Agree with everyone that the new format is not great. Would like to see 1-8 format again (would also say get rid of division winners being placed over those with more points). Excited to sit and watch the playoffs again without yelling at the tv all night.

    Oilers NEED to beat the Canucks tonight or else we might not finish in the bottom 3. Plus Vegas has to be fit in.

    Also kinda doubt Lucic would've signed in Vancouver. Not a fan fav here(think the church he brought the cup to got vandalized?). I always liked him because of his career with the Giants tho

    sucks the ducks won, otherwise we woulda been the 1 seed in our division but f--- it that was goat.

    mcdavid hit 100, gonna get the art ross, ted lindsay, hart trophy, and conn smythe all in the same season :whew:

    Ran the draft lottery simulator twice and had us in the top 3 both times. Willie D was not a coach for us to win a cup with really but kinda think it does more harm than good to fire coaches in mid re-build. Oh well, bring on the off season!

    man i just paid $375 for a ticket for tonights game. nosebleeds too

    idc, i'm so hype.

    first time in my adult life i get to watch the oilers play a playoff game.

    I've been to 1 game (just realized it was exactly 5 years ago). Pre-gamed with far too many Jose shots and blacked out before the 2nd period started and missed the game winner.



    Anyways Chaz McAvoy debuting tonight, hes gonna need to contribute with Krug and Carlo out.

    we went through like 10 coaches in 10 years, you're absolutely right.

    switching systems time and time again hinders development for younger players. but we'll see who the canucks hire first.

    Gotta avoid the wild game all night then watch it from start to finish after work.

    Hyped as f--- for the playoffs to be here and tonight's game especially, but first I gotta make sure I don't f--- up and ruin the game for myself tonight.

    Cautiously optimistic about the wilds chances, they've been great all year cept for the last month when they were really inconsistent, got better near the end though. I feel Dubnyk is definitely the biggest key factor.

    if the wild get hot, they're coming out the west. hawks really the only ones who can stop them if they play like they did for most the season.

    Unfortunately the hawks stopped em in the playoffs 3 of the last 4 or 5 years though so hard for me to get too confident if the Wild even make it to that match up next round. :emoji_slight_frown:

    But yeah the wild are tough to call, they can beat anybody if they play their best, they can also lose to anybody if they play their worst lol.
