Logic’s music is so sterile. His writing is still awful, there’s no personality in this at all. He’s saying absolutely nothing of substance & nothing clever neither, you can’t rhyme 1 syllable a bar and not have any content, but it’s so generic that it could easily pass as decent background music.

Just like everything that came before it, this isn’t for Hip Hop, this is for casual music listeners that aren’t interested in the craft or the culture to have something to gravitate to because it’s easily digestible. It’s insulting to everyone else when he’s constantly biting & copying other artist’s around him’s creative ideas/song structures/production/flows etc.

GP4 hook is a Snoop bite.
Open Mic is biting “The Heart PT. 2 - a Kendrick song, AGAIN.

I’m so bored listening, I’m not even halfway, I’m done.

Sampling is an excuse, it’s blatant copying he’s been doing it all through his career, he has no originality.

Same drums on Metropolis as Sing About Me
Same song structure/format of Sing About Me on Nikki & Under Pressure
The “YOU, YOU, YOU” ad libs
He’s emulated Kendrick’s flow on GKMC on other tracks not on Under Pressure, too.
    RHCP copy on Supermarket
    Contact has drums from Amazing
City of Stars is Flashing Lights
    Deeper Than Money is Momma
Slave II has same snare & melody as Rambo
I Am The Greatest has melody & bass line from A Tale of 2 Citiez
Copies Joyner Lucas’s phone number album title a year later for a single.

Just some examples, he’s copied Eminem punchlines & Kendrick lines before too.
