    Basically, if you were given the opportunity to talk to 1 musician, who would it be (dead or alive)?

    This could be based off of their musical output or interviews.

    I apologise in advance if this thread has already been created previously:

    My answer would be - either Kanye West or Dr. Dre

    I feel like Kanye West is incredibly misunderstood. It’s like people don’t want to understand him, yes he’s very scatter-brained, but if you can use a bit of brain power & critical thinking, you can read between the lines & I feel like his ideas & perspective of the world around him would be very interesting to converse about.

    With Dr. Dre - it takes a more musical route. Being a student of the game from the get go, in the 80s, I feel like there’s a lot to learn. He’s probably an encyclopaedia when it comes to music, but not just that, I bet he has a million stories of multiple generations of musicians that would be priceless to hear.

    I’d love to hear who you guys would choose, and why?

    Probably Kanye as well. I agree, most people take the headlines of what he says and runs with it, because most people operate from a 2 dimensional mentality and are always going to be emotionally manipulated because of that.

    There would be few experiences more enthralling and enriching than candidly speaking with an eccentric billionaire genius who believes anything is possible and has the world at his fingertips. Only other guy I’d remotely want to speak to is Tupac.

    the beatles early songs were written by both paul and john. i'd love to ask paul how they made that work. i would also ask him about paul is dead. and i'd love to know how he came up with so many brilliant songs. he has so many i can never make up my mind on favorites!

    2Pac for sure, dude had this incredible foresight that went way beyond his years. Just to hear what he envisioned for the rest of America would have been incredible.

    J Dilla would have been dope to hang around just to see how he chopped up those remarkable songs into his music.
