@LukeS80 you're just making a fool of yourself dude. You've listened to like 1 album (which is far from their best material)*, but you say that you can't see their appeal? foh, how do you expect to see their appeal then?
And LOL @ saying that their music was different but not good. Why even talk about something you've got no idea? Outkast has 2 undeniable classic albums, a great discography overall, successful attempts at making good and innovative music, and were huge at one point. There's not a single person who hasn't listened to at least Hey Ya or Miss Jackson (and I'm not talking about America only), there's not a single person who'll reply "who?" when he hears Outkast.
*edit: I just saw in your other post that you've actually listened to Aquemini and ATLiens and not only S/TLB.
Dude. How can you fail so much lolFire Squad, Old Account, Lamont and 2 others like this. -

Anyone who knows anything about hip-hop knows who OutKast is. Their first three albums are among some of the best the genre has to offer. Ms. Jackson and Hey Ya! were huge singles in the early 2000's. Not sure how old you are but you sound young, stupid, and very ignorant of the past.Lamont, CSW and Peter Parker like this. -

Kanyes never made a better album than Outkasts first 3 albums so how does he have a better discography? -

Gotta give it to Kanye. People pinpoint Idlewild as Outkast's big misstep, which is true, but they often forget how much Speakerboxxx/The Love Below was hurt by its length. A pretty good album that could have been utterly brilliant, which makes it more disappointing than Idlewild, which was always going to be something of a mess.DKC, RetiredAccount and Meero like this.
