    I’m constantly out of touch with current trends, I have no idea who the f--- any of these are. Considering how much hip hop I listen to & discover this always surprises me.

    I’m not a huge fan don’t get me wrong just think he’s hated just for being a white rapper when he’s probably on par with some mainstream rappers

    I mean my point there was he’s not really a bad rapper and if he wasn’t white he would have both less positive and negative attention. Like he’s nothing special but he’s not bad either, just average. And he’s a genuine guy, still young, and isn’t a culture vulture - like say Post Malone. He’s been very vocal about BLM and Breonna Taylor.

    honestly he reminds me of an early Mac Miller - and just like Mac I think a little bit of artistry could turn him into a good musician from an average one.

    ngl thats a pretty d--- solid list, besides 1 or 2 names. It still feels like its more of a popularity contest rather than shining a light on exciting new up and comers but I guess thats to be expected. Can't complain about most of their picks for the last 2 years

    I actually like Polo G and NLE Choppa. I'm surprised that Polo G hasn't made the list before this year and NLE Choppa deserved it. As far as the rest, not really feeling Rod Wave, Calboy is ok, 24Kgoldn is more emo-rap, Jack Harlow is listenable, Mulatto is alright.
