So many greats mentioned. I've always been partial to the random episodes: Not Without My Anus, Pip, A Million Little Fibres etc. Most people seem to hate them but they get me, Pretty much anything from season 8 is gold. h--- of a season.

Though it has declined over time, I think the show is still pretty good most of the time and hasn't become a shell of itself like the Simpsons.

I don’t think it’s so much about being more PC, I think they’re focused on having the episodes relate more to current events. They used to do entire episodes based on absurd premises without it having to be about politics, culture, etc. For the past decade or even longer they’ve been more concerned with making it applicable to what’s currently happening. Which isn’t necessarily a bad thing because it’s helped keep the show fresh after 20 something years but it does put them in a box. Like how they’ve done the season long arcs the past few seasons. It’s worked for them but then also kept them constrained a bit.

I started watching season 20 yesterday and I honestly love how they point out how america currently is (well, its from a few years back but still): sjw/pc vs racist bigot, two extremes constantly fighting. Also love that they created a whole season storyline covering all current events in an actual story in South Park instead of just standalone's. Like they have been doing for a while now.

But the good old days (I 'member!) had mostlt classic, stand alone episodes. Loved that as well and also that they literally made fun of everyone!

    What are your favorites?

    - "I made you eat ur parents" - Scott Tenerman Must Die is definitely one of them for me. Most of them where Cartman is on some savage s--- are nice af tbh.

Not a fan of the star wars / coon and friends bs, I prefer 'real life' episodes.

Yeah imo Randy and Cartman are the only ones that can pull of an episode centered about them. And maybe Butters.

The ones that always stay in my mind are the Starving Marvin episodes but I'd probably big any of the recent Tegridy episodes. It's probably not a popular opinion but they were so d--- perfect.

    All About Mormons
    Rainforest Shmainforest
    It's Christmas in Canada
    Mr. Hankey's Christmas Classics
    The Death Camp of Tolerance
    Cancelled
    Pee
    Scott Tennorman Must Die

Seasons 3-8 or so are pretty much all good, after that it's less consistent but there are still some gems every season. Haven't seen the last two though. Also it's been many years since I've seen the old ones so this is just off the dome looking at the episode list.
