He’s had a problem with me since I started posting, insulted me instantly I vividly remember it as my first interaction on here, don’t think I’ve had one positive interaction with him overall lol

That whole ‘in the culture’ thing is embarrassing. The internet exists now it’s not the late 80s in Brooklyn, we’re all sat in our houses consuming music the same way, none of us are ‘in the culture’ we’re on a music forum discussing hip hop, there’ll be plenty of members in here that consume more hip hop than some of the Americans in here from non-US countries, we’re not landlocked. Some people need to get off their high horses. It’s an argument created to downplay opinions that go against their own.

How can you be the arbiter of that when you are white? Some people would argue that your opinion doesn't matter in this particular case just for that simple fact of you not being black. The thing is I don't really care what's your take on that, cause being part of "the culture" or whatever doesn't occupy space in my mind and it wasn't really my goal to start a discussion about this. Although I think it's pretty funny that those words came from white person lol. All in all, it was just an honest question, cause your activity here seems to be only negative lately and all I see is you complaining about everything. If you have a problem with people having different opinion than yours and voicing it here on the forum, which is its purpose then I don't know what to tell you.

Eh I don't really care about randos opinion on the Internet lol. I guess "pandemic" or more so lockdowns took its toll on him, cause I don't remember him being this negative before.

Yeah, that's exactly what I meant. Lately he cames across as pompous, snobbish, elitist a------ and I don't remember it being the case 1 year ago or 2 years ago. Also I love when someone starts his statement with "I don't mean to offend you" and then says something offensive lol.
