    Not a movie but I just finished the Wu-tang: An American Saga series on Hulu and really enjoyed it. If you’re a Wu fan then it’s a must watch. Also has some Wire vibes.

    Bodied was a good movie. Nothing spectacular but a nice watch. Check out Roxanne Roxanne if you haven't.

    there’s also an argument to be made for uncut gems being a hip hop movie, one of the best at that

    My most controversial opinion is:
    Get Rich or Die Tryin’ > 8 Mile

    How High is great. The Wash is pretty funny for what it was, also the soundtrack bumps. Friday is classic if you consider that a hip hop movie
