Mandatory mention of that time I got Paul and (consequently) Narsh to admit they’d b--- a tranny in some trans debate by accusing them of being transphobic if they wouldn’t cos they’d be admitting they still believe deep down that it’s not a ‘real’ woman
And they were both like “I mean yeah I’d date a trans person if I really loved them”Dirty F, JMG, lil uzi vert stan and 5 others like this.Nov 23, 2025(This ad goes away when signing up) -

"Why won't people be as tribal as me about their political beliefs!!" seems like a weird suggestion. "Picking a side" so you can fight against "the other side" isn't a healthy or mature attitude to public debate. Unfortunately it's the norm, but I don't think it should be needlessly encouraged further...
I don't think I'm a "centrist" (I don't really know what that means) but I strongly support policies proposed by both the right and the left, so I know it's possible to not need to "pick a side" like it's some football game. I agree that "centrists" that are non-committal about everything are annoying (and probably don't really care about much), but I don't think that means we need to shame and force all non-partisan thinkers into "picking a side" and staying with it. Sounds kind of juvenile to me (and counterproductive to constructive debate).Buddha, Ordinary Joel, dkdnfbdjdkdddjdjfvcgfl and 4 others like this. -

The conservative establishment has long used race as a scapegoat to energize the poor white portion of their voter base—ie, the reason they're poor and can't get a leg up is because of affirmative action or undocumented immigrants taking the good jobs—anything to keep them thinking about the racial divide instead of the class divide and the systems in place that perpetuate both of these things. I think working toward class unity would help racial unity, but working toward class unity also requires some amount of racial unity, so it's kind of a Catch-22.
Racial unity among the working class would be a powerful thing, but getting there is going to take a lot of work from the white majority especially because a refusal to recognize the plight that black Americans have gone and are going through is going to keep that divide open. And at the same time I understand why many poor white people feel disenfranchised, because in a lot of cases these people have been ignored and forgotten. They have a right to be frustrated, but channeling that frustration toward black people/latin americans/etc. is the wrong place to send that energy.Michael Myers, skip, Fire Squad and 4 others like this. -

Obviously we would all love that but in the USA you can't erase 200 years of racism in an instant and the fact of the matter is that those identities exist as something much more tangible than, like, eye color or hair color. "Not seeing color" is literally impossible in the USA (and most places) because race as a concept is engrained in us and our society. Plus race/orientation is a useful tool for both major political parties (identity politics, pitting poor whites vs. the scapegoat race flavor of the month, etc.) and they're going to appeal to that stuff forever. The best we can hope for is to keep working on dismantling the systems in place that continue to perpetuate this stuff.skip, Ordinary Joel, Enigma and 4 others like this. -

I haven’t personally asked narsh about it but I don’t think the hate was ever rly as bad as ppl act even to him. Like I think the trolling hnhh comments actually did have an effect simply because it was f---ing with his $ but I think homeboy just got burnt out more than anything.
Narsh made defending thugs legendary status his hill to die on over and over again not just here but in relevant twitter circles and, again, actual rap review blogs. He was so active both thug and his engineer tumay interacted w him (until thug blocked him lmaoooo)
There’s a narsh tweet about Elton John and Paul McCartney liking thug that I still to this day see circulated by pages that are big enough that they get incorporated into adult swims social media team. I think one of narshs earlier hnhh articles on thug was one of the first positive blogs that the site had ever posted on him.
Dude rode thugs d-ck so hard it swayed half the forum and tbh a good portion of rap social media in general, zero capRetiredAccount, Ordinary Joel, Fire Squad and 4 others like this. -

As I said before, both sides are certainly guilty of utilizing race to push their agenda, they just do it in different ways. The problem is that the conservative side has a stranglehold over a lot of poor/rural whites, and it's a lot harder to prop up a minority group when you don't have as much help from the majority group.Fire Squad, Ordinary Joel, skip and 3 others like this. -

Truly, I have no idea. I typically stray away from politics. I’m just not knowledgeable enough within this field. Everything seems solely negative. Everything is “agree with me or you’re wrong.” Sounds corny but there is such a lack of unity in everything I see everyday.
I’d say I lean left if anything.M Solo, Fire Squad, Ordinary Joel and 3 others like this. -

I can only speak for the UK, but Enigma would definitely be considered super radical far left here. Labour, our biggest left wing political party, ran their last election on their most openly progressive platform ever, and there was mass outcry like socialism was some dangerous new idea that had never been heard of until Corbyn stepped up.Ordinary Joel, Enigma, skip and 3 others like this.Nov 23, 2025(This ad goes away when signing up) -
