Aug 29, 2020 I was watching some shows on youtube and got to thinking bout this, and for me it was fairly easy to quickly come up with a top 3..only 1 of these I actually had a chance to go to, and unfortunately i f----- it up and didn't..anyways here's my top 3, feel free to list just 1 or 2 or whatever. This is in order by the way.. 1. Tupac at club 662 Vegas, 1st show after his release from prison: probably no surprise to most of you that Pac is easily my favorite artist..he didn't necessarily have a ton of concerts to choose from, and was sometimes the opener for Snoop so didn't play long sets, but I'd go still go with this show..Pac is always hype anyways and this one considering the circumstances, would've been even better. It's kinda unfortunate it's not a long set, but it'd still be amazing for me..so this would be number 1. 2. Beatles last public concert, 1966 San Fran: like Pac, the beatles played short sets..i'd be going to this more so for the atmosphere/historical aspect, the beatlemania time period is interesting to me..But I do like the beatles quite a bit and this would've been huge. 3. Up in smoke tour, this is the one I had a chance to go to..I remember kinda wanting to ask my parents if i could go, but i was hesitant cuz of the name of the tour and the ad had a big weed leaf too,..I figured they'd say no, plus it was expensive and unfortunately I didn't wanna go to this back then as badly as I would've wanted to now..i mean xzibit, ice cube, eminem, then dre and snoop headlining? this was a ridiculous lineup, and Dre basically never does shows now so it'd have been one of the rare chances to catch him too.
Aug 29, 2020 Literally any Bob Seger concert. Or to see Bruce in his glory days. I love hip hop but don't really like hip hop concerts. No idea why
Aug 29, 2020 Up In Smoke Tour DMX at Woodstock in 99 Run-DMC at Capitol Theatre in 1984 Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg at Coachella
Aug 29, 2020 forgot about woodstock, but yeah i might throw the original one in there too..partly for the time period/experience.
Aug 29, 2020 It's not really a concert, but I'd love to see Death Row performance at The Source Awards in 95, it was crazy.
Aug 29, 2020 Pink Floyd The Wall tour looked crazy trippy and they build a wall between the stage and crowd during the show, plus I grew up on that tape. Second would be the Winter Dance Party tour before Buddy Holly, Ritchie Valens and the Big Bopper took that plane “the day music died”.
Aug 29, 2020 Up in Smoke Tour without a shadow of a doubt. Second, by a long way, would've been the Em and Dre concert in Brixton Academy just before he released SSLP.
Aug 29, 2020 three great options ayyy. maybe hendrixx at monterey, or grateful dead . frampton comes alive, last waltz, simon and garfunkenl at central park holla
Aug 29, 2020 Off top: Fishmans' last ever concert before Shinji Sato's tragic passing. The live album from this concert is life-alteringly brilliant. Nujabes' set with Uyama Hiroto in South Korea when he was still alive. Bill Withers Live at Carnegie Hall.
Aug 29, 2020 Jay's I Declare War concert when he buried the hatchet with Nas Daft Punk's 2006 performance when they scorched Coachella Kanye when he went on the Yeezus tour is my biggest regret this decade
Aug 30, 2020 Actually another one would've been Jay Z's "retirement" concert at the Royal Albert Hall in London. Think it was back in 2006.
