Aug 30, 2020 I’ve enjoyed leans music for a long time but I feel like he’s very stagnant lately, maybe even regressing, since stranger
Aug 30, 2020 He doesn’t get brought up enough in the producer convo, probably because he doesn’t send beats out like that but he’s one of my personal favourites of the 10s along with clams
Aug 30, 2020 Not even gonna disagree with that tbh. Last project I really enjoyed from him was Warlord. Still his first 2 albums still classics imo
Aug 30, 2020 Agreed. I’m not going to pretend like starz didn’t have its moments but it’s just from someone seemingly as intelligent and who has been through as much as him, I’d like to hear content that’s not so f---ing surface level
Aug 31, 2020 Lyrically, Aesop Rock is an alien from outer space just like Lupe when it comes to wordplay, metaphors, vocabulary, and obscure references. But his flow and albums are no where near as interesting as Eminem's.
Aug 31, 2020 ayyyy interesting. who else on ur list m8 and brother, ive been stewing over your ktt posts yday, and your backhand at us. we have to create the future we want to see in this world. you have limitless chance to shape the conversation here, so i encourage you to stir the pot with great conversation points like this, not seeing the greener grass smh ayy not even relapse? sslp? ehhhhh
Aug 31, 2020 Well listen, I plan on staying. And if you haven’t been able to tell I’ve been trying to kickstart conversations. Seems like I’m omw to one of the most active users. I got a lot to say if you guys want to listen For the second part no I have no interest in those albums at all. And this is what I’m saying: I make a thread about LUM and someone comes in and tries to make it about Eminem again. Seems like people don’t want to listen to what I have to say
Aug 31, 2020 nah i feel u. im here for it man we need dudes igniting passionate convos on new artists etc. remind me: you like jack harlow and nf ayy? have we discussed jelly roll bring it back ey ey. nah but if you're like "holy f--- i need the ktt discord!!!" all groveling than some ppl may shrug. and yaaaaaaaaaa homie we descended from em's ppl so its natural theres a slant toward his work. curious you arent even into those two albums doooo
Aug 31, 2020 I’ve never heard of nf and as far as jack Harlow goes; he’s good. I don’t listen to him but what’s poppin in undeniably catchy and he seems respectful of the culture so I can’t hate on him. He’s fine. also it’s ok you guys “descend from ems people” but this is an ugly mane thread to discuss ugly mane there is no reason to derail it with Aesop rock and em posting
Aug 31, 2020 d--- I havent listened to Lil Ugly Mane is ages. I was blown away the first time I heard Mista Thug Isolation, it was the a huge highlight from the SGP/Raider Klan sound of the time. I must admit I've never digged into the rest of his discog but Imma need to revisit this first. and @Jeans keep posting mate. This is stan central but if you just ignore them theres plenty of great posters and good discussion on here
Aug 31, 2020 need you back here leading the change tbh m8. shout out @Fire Squad @awhellno for crushing it but need dat three headed monster ayyy
Aug 31, 2020 Definitely worth a relisten. I’ve been eyeing up the vinyl but they’re so expensive, beating myself up for not buying it when it came out. This album is definitely the crown jewel of the raider clan era and I’d suggest checking out the whole discog
Aug 31, 2020 Ok now I have to relisten to Mista Thug Isolation. Isn't he called Bedwetter now or is that old news?
