    Wayne was absolutely inescapable at his peak. There was a period where literally every song on the radio was either a Lil Wayne single or a single featuring Lil Wayne. No one will ever be that big again.

    No. Hopsin does and that is if we are talking both money and discography. He’s worth almost 1 billion and his discographies is one of the best in ever.

    Obviously Eminem is number one so that's out of the question.
    But, could a case be made that Lil Wayne is 2nd place?
    Wayne:
    - First went platinum in 1999 at a young teenager
    -Sold lots of albums and topped charts with the Hot Boys
    -Has one of highest number of Hot 100 entries of any artist in any genre of music
    -Declared himself the "Best Rapper Alive" while getting co-signed by other rappers, including Eminem
    -Had a number one song and best selling album of 2008 on top of a hot mixtape(Dedication 3)
    -Had Drake and Nicki Minaj blow up on his label who became superstars on their own and are still relevant today
    -Had one of the best selling albums again in 2011
    -Made a comeback in 2018 after taking a hiatus due to Birdman's fuckery
    -Just dropped another number one album this year in 2020 while stilling having plans for more music

    I'm not even a big Wayne fan like that. I enjoy his prime music but I'll always have Nas, Em, Jay, Lupe, Pac, etc. ranked above him but his run is honestly impressive af.

    Only Jay-Z, Drake, and maybe Kanye are contenders imho.

    What do you think though? If not Wayne, who has the 2nd biggest run in hip hop after Eminem?
