I can’t believe this album is 13 years old. Literally, it came out half my life ago. This project was the soundtrack to my whole eighth grade year. A classic, that also marks the end of an era for Kanye, which some people — who are dead wrong — think was his peak. Though, it probably marked his peak in popularity when it comes strictly to music (an argument for TLOP could be made though.) It also marked the end of another era, putting a cap on 50 Cent’s run as an A-list rapper, having outsold Curtis dramatically.

Let’s reminisce on a classic album.

From day one, after downloading a bootleg off Limewire, my favorite song on this was The Glory and my least favorite was Drunk and Hot Girls, which kinda sorta aged pretty well imo. Another memory I have is when my homie, Logan, who some of you know from my music with him in the creative section, won a three point competition at our middle school, and we crashed the floor “blasting” Champion off my RAZR lmao.

This is among the rare few albums of the 2000's that will never feel dated in its entirety. You can add Good Life & Stronger into any rotation, they still sound relatively modern even when compared to the other electro inspired pop hits that followed after.

Ushered in a newer era for rap, started Ye's adventurous trends into pushing rap's sounds, yeah at this point I'm just beating a dead horse, classic album and he still made better records.

Crazy to think that 50 was as relevant as Kanye musically for a few years. Anyways, underrated album tbh

I prob rank Graduation higher than most but I know a lot of that is because I have so many positive memories attached to it. It's one of his albums I find myself going back to the most.

It's aged very well but still weak in comparison to CD and LR. Best thing about the album was the promo roll out with 50.

I wouldn’t say it’s my favorite Kanye album, but it’s the one that means the most to me

My favorite album behind MBDTF & 808.

Classic. All 4 songs in OP are timeless. Also shoutout to Goodnight.

    Great bloody album.

So many tracks. May still be my favourite Ye album.

"Homecoming" is just a thing of beauty.

This album literally marked the end of Shady/Aftermath's reign of terror of the 2000's. Literally, right after this album came out and dominated, Kanye and Wayne(and eventually Drake) replaced Eminem and 50 as the Juggernauts of hip hop.

I'm still convinced that, if Relapse and Before I Self Destruct were released before Graduation, they would have been better received than they were in 2009.

As for the album itself, I thought it was dope for what it was: A poppy, progressive rap album with catchy singles that could be perfectly performed in arenas. It wasn't groundbreaking like College Dropout and 808's or high quality like Late Registration and MBDTF but it was easily one of the best rap releases of 2007 along with The Cool and American Gangster.

Champion might be Kanye’s most under rated track

    It's a fantastic album.

For some reason, I had the idea that a lot of people here didn't like that album.

Ye was really killing it during that time period.
