Dec 18, 2014 There are entire forums dedicated to the conspiracy theory that he actually died and was replaced. Hilarious as that may be in his recent interview he really looks like a robot - no human characteristics like a sense of humor or genuine emotion whatsoever.

Dec 18, 2014 I'm not sure what his by any account outrageous behavior on camera has to do with the (still record breaking) music but he's said multiple times that on espn etc he was promoting mmlp2 by mimicking the drugged out look he had promoting mmlp he must be doing something right seeing as how the monster is triple platinum, rap god is in the new guinness book and mmlp2 after a #1 debut has sold 4-5 million copies. a vast majority of listeners clearly still enjoy the music and his antics not pointing at anyone here but the people he writes for got his humor in 1999, and still do. as for those he'd probably prefer didn't even buy his cds especially now that he's set for life, chances are they blew him off in 99 and forgot about him after 04. then they likely picked up not getting it again in 09 when he was first back in the news, and are still hoping for another sabbatical just so other rappers will have a fair chance lel ain't happening dawg
Dec 18, 2014 this a perfect example of what drugs can do his voice from 1997-2000 was just a high pitched voice but from 2000-2007 his voice is much deeper because of his opiate abuse. My voice even changes when im on opiates. im sure the benzos and ambien he was taking only intesefied that drugged out voice. if he was really taking 90 pills a day like he said then he is just lucky enough to be alive and still rapping. I don't think he has been replaced, just older and no longer on drugs
Dec 18, 2014 he is unbelievably lucky. they told that him if they'd found him any later even an hour or two he likely wouldn't have made it I'm thankful to still be hearing new music I'm also thankful he sounds so comfortable and confident and like himself on the mic on xv just doing him for the first time in what literally almost qualifies as decades how many of you who say you miss the xtc/vic flow have actually been that far gone? no one can possibly be stupid enough to think marshall wants to be back in that place or for that matter ignorant enough to want someone there at all
