Griseldas biggest income has been merch. those dudes made some serious bank from their merch. LLoyd banks is really been pushing merch all year too. 50 still does aswell. Jay has the Paper planes s---, kanye has his clothes. its a pretty normal thing lol
Sep 15, 2020 Griselda isn't "signed" to shady, it's just a distribution deal lol meaning shady records just distributes their music, meaning shady is not responsible for their promotion or garnering any attention, just a smart business move knowing anything released under shady records has basically gone gold in a year which is difficult for most independent labels to do

They have a very unique deal. they were signed to drop a group album, and then 2 solos and maintained the right to still release their other projects independently through their record labels as they've been doing. and also, they have management deals with Roc Nation. so theyre in a good spot. 3 albums through a major, still dropping their other projects/merch frequently as they always have and have the roc management deal.
