Sep 17, 2020 Remy Ma recently chopped it up with fellow Terror Squad member Fat Joe for his Instagram Live show. During the conversation, Joe and the “SHEther” spitter talked about how much they admired the late Big Pun, the magic he’d bring to the studio and the previously unheard Pun and Jadakiss collaboration Joe premiered earlier this week. Remy also revealed the one artist he always wanted to work with — Eminem. When Joe asked whether Remy and Pun had ever discussed Jadakiss, she replied, “We didn’t. The only discussion that we had — and he put it to me, ‘Any time I get a song with anybody, any cypher, my goal was to k--- everybody.’ “So at the time, that’s when [the posse cuts] ‘John Blaze’ was out and ‘Banned From TV.’ He felt like all those records, he had to watch for that muthafucka Jadakiss ’cause he gon’ do what he do. But I can honestly say that he was waiting for Eminem. That was his thing. He was like, ‘I can’t wait to get on a track with him.’ That was his goal. Out of his lips, he told me he cannot wait for the song to come with him and Eminem. That’s what he was waiting for.” Joe almost couldn’t believe his ears and simply cried out, “Oh my god!” He added, “You know Pun would have went blow-for-blow. They’d have been on triple time.” The fiercely proud Puerto Rican rapper passed away in February 2000, not long after Eminemdropped the Slim Shady LP and was featured on Dr. Dre’s 2001 album. While staying at a hotel in White Plains, New York, he suffered a heart attack and respiratory failure. Although the 698-pound rapper was taken to a hospital, paramedics were unable to revive him.
Sep 17, 2020 That would be magic if this collab came to life, although modern Em would wash Big Pun. Let's be real. If Em pulled "Godzilla" again it would be hard for Pun to catch off.
Sep 17, 2020 agree, of course fat joe would say otherwise lol who’s verse did you like between em, fat joe in lord above song?

Sep 17, 2020 same, I like joes style and was always curious to know how Em would sound with fat joe if he signed him before Dre... but bar for bar...Em overall better mc Lord above verse is definitely 1 of my favorite recent em Tracks
Sep 17, 2020 I think Em wouldn't be that famous for some reason. He would be huge, but Fat Joe ain't Doc Dre. I would love to hear any of those 6 demos Em gave to Joe lol.
Sep 17, 2020 Lol I wonder about those demos too true, I always wondered how big he would be if he signed with another label...duck down...fat joe...I’m sure other dudes claimed they had a chance to sign him too... I think you’re right...he loves hip hop and seems like he would be happy being a underground hip hop star too...real hip hop heads...not sure if he would make singles like we made you, my name is, real slim shady...if he wasn’t part of intersCope /aftermath... Superstar that is up there with The Beatles, Michael Jackson, Madonna, Elton John, etc... in terms of fame/money they made...versus only people who listen to that genre Know who he is
Sep 17, 2020 No limit records signing Eminem would be weird LOL Ughhhh nana nana ...Em let em say,,,ughhhh nananan
Sep 17, 2020 It's just guessing at this point. I don't think there will be another rapper that famous, but if he stayed underground without any label help? I think he'd be what RA The Rugged Man is, respected, but not taken very seriously in this day and age. Just that old backpacker with witty bars.
Sep 18, 2020 I kinda don't believe this. They didn't ever discuss Jada, one of the biggest up and coming guys from his state at the time but talked about someone who was barely relevant at the time? '99 he was just blowing up he's, but surely not enough for one of the biggest guys around to pay attention?
Sep 18, 2020 I'm not saying she's a liar. I think Pun became a fan after Em dropped. But listen to Triple Seis talk about how Pun originally responded to Em. Seis was a Terror Squad member
