Oct 19, 2020 Definitely inspired by this....desperately trying to recreate and totally average? No way man Plus he is pretty much from that era of rap anyway
Oct 19, 2020 Skills wise that's the correct order. I though all 3 projects west dropped this year were good. Pray for Paris was the stand out tho.
Oct 19, 2020 This album just gets better and better man, holly s--- in before Fantano gives it a 9 "Only rapper that would thrive in the Tupac era" Hit boy fukn murdered the production as well, producer of the year?
Oct 19, 2020 It’s gotta be hit boy right? Dude has had a monster year. Executive produced the Nas album, was all over the Big Sean album, and also did Benny’s album. Plus the other random tracks he produced that came out this year. He basically did an album for a legend, heavily shaped a mainstream album, and did an underground album, all in the same year. And for the most part, none of those beats were wack. That’s insane.
Oct 19, 2020 Correct answer..... it's been a good year for "real hip-hop" Alfredo Run the jewels 3 All the Griselda projects Blu - miles Streams of thought 3 Best projects of the year for me and all these guys are mid thirties or older. Not just a kids sport. Meanwhile been a pretty dissapointing year for trap or maybe I'm just getting too old for these new rappers.
Oct 20, 2020 yeah it has to be alchemist , the price of tea in china, Lulu & Alfredo up there in my favourite albums this year
Oct 20, 2020 Yeah it really has. I sense a change in the culture coming imo. I actually havent listened to Blu yet, is he like the rest of them?
Oct 20, 2020 Opening track is f---ing fire. Rest is downhill and sounds the same as everything else.why can’t he keep that energy going for more than the opening track?
