    Eminem
    - best seller of the decade
    - won more awards than any other rapper
    - has the best 3 albums stretch ever
    - murdered Jay
    - influenced a new generation of blonde kids

    you dont have to agree with everything...just make your case

    - RD, AG, BP, TBA, doubt a rapper can really top that
    - can flow over any beat
    - never really fell off, after AG his solo albums were average but on WTT and other features he was and is still great
    - made better diss songs than his oponents (nas, mobb deep for example)

    btw i just checked out the Reviews section, if i write a billion word thesis on why right for me is the best hip hop track of all time can i be a contributing author too?

    My personal choice is Marshall.

    Besides the points that @Koolo made, no other artist had as much of an impact on me growing up as much as he did.

    He put out three classic albums.
    I hope I'm not sounding gay when I say this but, he has the voice that can blow you away with whatever he says & it will give goosebumps.
    Even though he isn't that good now as he use to be, he can still put out songs that are on par with with some of his older material.
    His passion & love he still has for hip hop.

    People who push the hip hop genre SONICALLY like Kanye, Gambino, and Cudi. Dont have a specific one.

    some may not have as much commercial success but they definitely make hip hop interesting and great to listen to

    I know it's a very accepted and common thought on these boards that Em has the greatest 3 album stretch ever, but I don't agree with that. I think it's Tupac, he had me against the world, all eyez on me and 7 day theory in a row. Had he stayed alive, I can guarantee his next album would have been better than Encore lol. Technically his next album was r u still down which was very good too imo.

    But I realize there's a lot more Em fans here so that won't be a popular opinion.

    If you can do a good job of it, I'd love to read it.

    Don't really understand how Stans can say "Gay-Z" and "Kangay" and "Lil Gayne" when Eminem is the only artist who has said both "shove a diamond up my hind end" and "shove a f---ing tonka truck up a little kid's butthole" not only in the same song, but in the same verse.
