    Yes, and thats an asset. The writing isn't as bad as youre leading on, and neither is the delivery. However it's darker, which works to its advantage.

    It's a little corny, but the "drugged out" delivery shows the state he was in when he wrote and recorded it. You can tell he lacks his normal enthusiasm which only adds to the atmosphere of the song.

    I agree. The hook is a little corny, Eminem even admits that at the end of the song, but other than that it's an amazing song. Easily one of the best since his comeback. I love the content, the verses, the beat, and I especially love that sample. Fits the mood of the song perfectly. The guitar solo at the end of the song really gave me some nostalgia back to the MMLP days. That third verse >*

    yeah but it was all recorded at the same time. he was clearly under the influence when he recorded it so it was probably recorded during his second stint.

    "I wrote the first verse and a half in rehab, and when I came out, I finished it. It was the only song that marks that period without bringing me back to that place. Every other track not only didn't fit with the album, but when I listened to it, it would bring up bad memories."
    Still doesn't stop the song from being a 6/10 at best. Wayy too many people overrating it due to the other garbage on that LP.
