Dec 5, 2020 I'm not trying to ignite the age old beef between these two Harlem legends so it's only about preference. They both have this similar laid back and arrogant style of rapping and are cold as h---. Who you got? s---'s tough as h--- but Murda is the coldest dude to ever grab a mic. Gotta give it to him.
Dec 5, 2020 Cam easily has a better body of work, but I prefer Mase as a rapper. Cam is one of the hardest, pettiest rappers to ever live and Mase absolutely shredded him on The Oracle.
Dec 5, 2020 Disagree, while his discog doesn’t live up to his skill, he has some of the best flows ever used while also being a capable lyricist.
Dec 5, 2020 Y'all forgot when Mase dropped this b-----r in 2014 while having his life dedicated to God at the same time?
Dec 5, 2020 Would have guessed a closer outcome too Who else but Cam can flip A Thousand Miles and make it a song about cheating and selling white
Dec 5, 2020 Cam cut me and my friends on line for a ride at great adventure. We waited an hour for the first row of Nitro and this MF comes up from the exit with his crew and they take the first 3 rows...Still voted for him tho. Purple Haze was fire
Dec 5, 2020 can't imagine not thinking cam is better, maybe if mase had a better discog, this would be closer
Dec 5, 2020 When they were Children Of The Corn members, Killa Cam often smoked Murda Ma$e and held his own with the ringleader (Lamont Coleman himself. R.I.P. Big L.). But as of now, you might be valid with this hot take, bruv.
Dec 6, 2020 This like asking me who my favorite imaginary son is.... Ma$e is hideously under appreciated as far as his contributions to rap goes along with Puff. He was a huge component in the whole Rap/R&B fusions, the signature recipe of Bad Boy, that came to dominate radio at the turn of the naughts. All of that mattered in Hip-Hops incremental dominance of the music industry, plus he’s had a string of strong guest appearances here and there. But this one is a no-brainer for me, Cam’s peak is my favorite time stamp of any rapper outside of Kanye’s career. Cartoonish, inventive, trail-blazer, the guy led one of NY’s most lasting stylistic movements while creating some elite albums (and hubris) along the way.
