    Things have been rough for Oakland. They lost both the Warriors and the Raiders. It was nice for WPG to interview 2 of their local area rappers to give them exposure.

    great read. 40's probably the favorite just off the sheer mass of his catalog but I wouldn't count Too Short out

    I'm voting Too Short. His music is just great whereas E-40's is more of a meme.

    Both as well known in their fan base.

    Maybe I've missed something but I just can't take his flow seriously. Every time I hear him on a track it just seems to lighten the mood.

    Not saying this in a bad way and I enjoy hearing the uniqueness he brings.

    E-40’s one of the most unique/influential rappers ever—not saying it’s wrong to pick Short on this but classifying E-40 as a meme I don’t get unless you’ve only seen him on like Hot Ones. They’re both funny rappers so if that makes E-40 a meme then Short is too.

    If you’ve never heard In a Major Way try that—I mean it even has a 2pac feature!!!
