I really don't understand the thought process behind marketing this as a deluxe album. Whether it's all songs recorded after MTBMB or not doesn't matter. Eminem sequenced it and packaged it musically like an album. The average listener who sees the album called MTBMB Deluxe isn't going to check it out if they're not a big Eminem fan. When I see an artist puts out a deluxe album of something I already listened to, I rarely check it out unless I'm a huge fan of the artist.

I mean in general it’s still impressive considering it’s marketed as a deluxe edition & his marketing was a social media post lol. Not to mention this doesn’t include physical CD sales at all, which is a big part of what his older fan base likes.

But yeah for Em, this is awful. But the album is incredible so I couldn’t not give a f---. Just a shame more people aren’t hearing this tbh.

Eminem selling under 100k with brand new music is unheard of.

But it was really only the stans excited for this. Paul is horrible at marketing because he plays a game of clue with the stans and expects them to put in the work.

Yes. Its actually not debatable even. All deluxe albums regardless if its totally new or not sells horribly

the reason is also known. Most casual fans dont know if its new or not. And some wont buy it for the extra 6 dollars or whatever. Deluxe ALWAYS sell horribly which is why its super rare for a deluxe to be totally new content

Em's album sales have been regressing because he doesn't promote them anymore. No radio interviews, tv interviews, or networking with other media outlets. It's a shame bc this is some of his best work and only marketed as a deluxe

Charts are delayed because of Christmas I guess. But I suspect he’s ok the 3rd or 2nd spot.

He’s still No. 1 on iTunes US for now.
