    So yeah 2020 been a pretty s-----y year for many reasons.

    Here's to 2021 being a lot better!

    Stay safe, stay healthy and even if we can't celebrate it the way we usually do..... happy holidays everyone!

    Oh and for a good thing that happened to me: got a lot figured out about my health (both mentally and physically). I mentioned in the vaccine thread I think that I found out I have an IgA deficiency. Basically my body has trouble making a certain type of antibody—one that is on your mucous membranes such as in your nose and gut—which is why often get colds that evolve into sinus infections. Still have a ways to go and stuff to figure out but a known evil is much better than an unknown evil.

    Best thing that happened to me this year? I got married!

    Let's hope 2021 will bring more positive things our way.

    Good things that happened: Finished three of the hardest exams of my bachelor's course plus I've finished my thesis last week. So mainly just uni related, but atleast covid didn't hold me back, which I'm thankful for. Spending christmas with my parents. Eat, watch a stupid christmas comedy movie and that's gonna be it.

    oh and some cyberpunk, movies, and Devils Lettuce.

    Dude get sinus surgery, I can’t recommend it enough. I used to get CONSTANT sinus infections, especially after a cold. That’s wild. Had it done 2 years ago and haven’t had one since.

    Me and the boy have just spent watching Google Santa Tracker and looking out the window for Rudolf's nose. Hope he's got a strong heart because it's going to be put to the test when he wakes up sees the pile of presents under the tree!

    But to reflect slightly:
    Yes this year has been bad. But I'd set it up to be worse than it needed to be in 2019 so I'll take that one on the chin.

    The positives? I have the most amazing wife and I have the most super intelligent 4 year old ever (like seriously, I think he might be special in a good way) and I've witnessed the birth of my second kid/first daughter.

    On a professional level, I started back at my previous Company. One I should never have left but one that welcomed me back with open arms. I couldn't ask for more than that.

    Onwards and upwards in 2021. I feel were going to have a f---er of a first quarter, ease out of it in the second and start seeing the fruit of out labours on the third.
