This is the precursor for the amazing music we’ve gotten after Revival, (and the few great songs on Revival) also arguably idk if he’s had a bigger feature than Beyoncé in 2017. I’ve had this song as a solid 10/10 since it dropped and Ik @Koolo would back me up on this. Time to give the flowers to one of Em’s most important songs

Jan 8, 2021 Song is perfect for the message it was made to send. Any fan has to appreciate it man. The guy literally poured his feelings out about getting constant hate when he was - at the time - writing, the best he felt he could, and it still wasn’t appreciated as the track it was meant to be lol. Look what the hate from that album produced though. The man’s pen game is the best its been in a long time now. Perhaps ever. Flawless.
Jan 9, 2021 One of the best and most important Eminem songs ever, Remember listening to this when it first came out and being blown away by it thinking it was flawless and an emotional song that was actually from the heart again. You could tell Em poured his heart out on this song like no other and I went on s80 thinking it was going to get praised only to see a bunch of comments about how there wasn't drums or calling it slam poetry lol.

Jan 9, 2021 I’m talking about consistency through a full project. There’s too many lows post-MMLP2 in each for them to measure up imo. Closest we get is Kamikaze, but there’s a heavy reduction in wordplay, content & songs overall but much less lows than the succeeding projects. MMLP2 has other problems, writing wasn’t one of them that’s for sure.
Jan 9, 2021 MMLP2 isnt even that consistent at writing. Berzerk verses alone might be the worst verses Em has ever put on an album. Plus funny punchlines like on side b doesnt make writing inconsistent for me. Id still pick m2bmb overall
Jan 9, 2021 Berzerk is definitely one of the lowest points of the project, but that only adds to my point really. There is much worse (& more of it) on the newer projects. I’m still to this day blown away that Em spat “let us in like a salad bowl” on Venom with an intense angry delivery lmaooo I like funny punchlines, Em’s made plenty, even on this new project that are great. Doesn’t excuse the garbage though.
