Jan 9, 2021 What tracks do you think are classic that came out after Revival? Write your list in this thread. Here's my list: Venom - 10/10 Stepping Stone - 10/10 Remember the Name (ft. 50 Cent & Ed Sheeran) - 10/10 b--- (Original version, uncensored)(ft. Conway) - 1000000/10 Lord Above (ft. Fat Joe) - 10/10 Godzilla (ft. Juice WRLD) - 9.5/10 Those Kinda Nights (ft. Ed Sheeran) - 10/10 Stepdad (the only track that reminded me of the vibe of The Eminem Show) - 10/10 No Regrets (ft. Don Toliver)(track that reminded me of the vibe of Recovery) - 10/10 Never Love Again (Recovery vibe) - 9.5/10 Discombobulated (the only track that reminded me of the vibe of Relapse) - 10/10 if these songs hadn't come out, I think I would have forgotten long ago that Eminem even exists today. Songs where guests were better than Eminem and I liked the guests on these tracks much more than Eminem: Rap Devil (by MGK)(the best diss on Eminem I've heard) - 10/10 Unaccommodating (I only like Young Ma's verse (9.5/10), she's just fire. Eminem's verse is very average(5/10)) Favorite b---- (I only like Ty Dolla $ign's verse (9.5/10), he's just fire. Eminem's verse is very average(5/10)) Black Magic (I only like Skylar Grey's verse (9.5/10), she's just fire. Eminem's verse is very average(5/10)) Guns Blazing (I only like Dr. Dre's verse (10/10), he's just fire. Eminem's verse is very average(6/10)) Zeus (I only like White Gold's verse (10/10), he's just fire. Eminem's verse is very average(5.5/10))
Jan 9, 2021 I agree with all, especially White Gold's verse on Zeus. I actually think that all of his verses were 10/10
Jan 9, 2021 Love the crescendo halfway through Em’s verse: Got several bounties from feds in every county I'm with a gal at a Checkers wiling Bumping "f--- Da Police" while I fed her Rally's This s--- is like Romper Room Why do I feel responsible for these kids? All of whom I'm a father to I'm a God to you, y'all better worship the water I walk on - or y'all gonna meet your Waterloo I get to flippin' the mic' as a murder weapon I'm poppin' an extra clip, then c--- and s---t, then I'm popping - Do not let me catch you slippin' I will pop up and I'll take a spot from you I'll get to doing what a leaky faucet do But I ain't talkin' drip when I say that I'll get the drop on you Brilliant.
Jan 9, 2021 Revival was chalk full of classics imo but I think Those Kind of Nights is a classic. The rhyme schemes are top tier and the beat is bopping
Jan 9, 2021 I mean if you were to make one album mixing all the songs after Revival... Kamikaze - Lucky You, Venom, Fall, Good Guy, Ringer MTBMB SA - Godzilla, Darkness, Those Kinda Nights, Leaving Heaven, I Will, Premonition, Lock it Up, You Gon' Learn MTBMB SB - Gnat, Higher, Book of Rhymes, Discombobulated, Zeus If you put one album with those 18 songs on it, wow. Some might complain about two of those obvious choices, but it gives the full album a little more diversity. That s--- overall would be a classic mixed in one full album.
Jan 11, 2021 Never Love Again is pure Relapse 2. Idk what you're talking about. You gon learn is Eminem show Em.
Jan 11, 2021 This track sounds like a sequel to Cleanin Out My Closet. At the end of this track, Eminem could only say one thing: It's my life, I'd like to welcome y'all to The Eminem Show Both of these tracks "Cleanin Out My Closet" and "Stepdad" are about his life and he invites us to his The Eminem Show. I think only a fool can fail to understand this. This is the only track since 2005 to have a vibe by the The Eminem Show.
Jan 11, 2021 You used the word “classic” so that basically limits options here, you also said after Revival so now “Believe” can’t be included. The only songs that I think at the moment will go down as classic Eminem tracks are: from Revival: “Believe” After Revival: Chloraseptic Remix The Ringer Lucky You Killshot Premonition Godzilla Book of Rhymes For me I could add Greatest to this list that’s a classic for me and stepping stones, probably higher too. Side A and Side B too fresh for me right now. like I say the problem is that you used the word “classic” so I feel the above can currently be cemented as classic Eminem joints.. Change the wording and just say what songs you guys f---ing with since Revival and the list exponentially grows. also it’s a little early — like I say the word classic. Like “In da club” is a classic joint. So if that’s the bar man.. you know what I’m saying.
Jan 11, 2021 Whole cd is classic. My favorites are like home. Need me. The Rick Rubin tracks. I didn’t really like castle or arose very much though. But IMO. His best since Eminem show.
