Oct 22, 2015 BUMP. With all the dumb s--- going on recently I've spent too much time monitoring children in OT and not enough time discussing music, which is what I'm here for primarily. This was one of my favorite topics, so I'm reviving it. Rules pasted form the first page: Every day or two (or whenever I feel like updating if we get good discussion/I forget) I'll update the topic title with a new album. Everyone rates the album out of ten and writes a blurb about why they gave the album that rating. I'm not asking for an in-depth review, just a sentence or two about why you like or dislike the album. At the end of each rating period, I'll add up all the scores and post sxn80's average score for said album. Other mods feel free to update this topic with another album if I forget. Rules: 1. Oct 22, 2015 it's a masterpiece, one of the best rap albums ever made. i'm actually in the minority of people who would place it comfortably head of The Low End Theory--the latter is brilliant too, but q-tip shines on the glossier sound, phife is better, the whole thing here is tighter. 9.5 really? behind travels??

Oct 22, 2015 I used to like Low End Theory better, but I grew to strongly prefer Marauders as well. Marauders > Theory > Travels > Beats > Movement I actually think Beats, Rhymes, and Life is pretty underrated. I might like it more than Travels on a good day.
