    @Sign Language i agree with you - the marijuana policy stuff is maddening. hopefully if the senate can muster the ability to pass a bill* biden will be compelled to sign it. box him in i mean

    **unlikely, regardless of biden or whoever is president. comrade @WPG fails to grasp the intricacies of a 50/50 senate. but thats another debate.... and that said, did i miss the jubilation itt about the historic covid bill? the strides are clear as day on an array of fronts, as @Enigma and res have already pointed out. theres genuine disagreements to be hand within the party, so ill leave it at that, but the hatred or discontent with biden, and his work with progressives, thus far amazes me.


    oh and @Donkey Kong Country im with u on high speed rail. the dem party was burned badly in the obama years over it so i get the reluctance. hopefully this infrastructure bill will enhance rail/amtrak significantly tho.

    Nah I’m with you, it was less about this instance and more about the general attitude of the forum—I don’t think anyone was outta line here. If you don’t want your views questioned stay out of political threads. It’s that simple. It’s important to call stuff out as conspiracy theories (in general, but also I don’t want any people being radicalized by posts on this forum lol). This isn’t place to QAnon circle jerk or whatever there’s plenty of boomer FB groups and patriot signal group chats to do that in.

    I was talking more about stuff like posters using a link to a therapy resource I posted as a way to to ridicule someone who’s legitimately mentally ill (this instance im referring to isn’t the Australia/grim thing btw). It’s not our responsibility and no one is obligated (let alone equipped) to deal with mental illness here but I also don’t want it being used as an excuse to insult someone (which again, not this thread to be clear) under the guise of caring you know?
