So, everyone knows how much i wanted the MMLP20 music thing. Let me tell u my story.

When SSLP20 was released with its music, which I know was s--- we already had, but this wasnt hyped up either. But this was in february 2019 and I quickly thought ”in may next year it will be MMLP20 ”
Do i believe it will be just acapellas and instrumentals? NO! This is mmlp we talking about, Ems greatest album, best selling hiphopalbum, best selling album of 2000, he broke records, he changed the music industry. He was the biggest in the world. Obviously they will make a huge deal of MMLP20, unlike the halfassed sslp20.
So I waited for 1 year and three months anticipating MMLP20. When the day finally arrives, may 23 2020, all we got was bs, remastered musicvideos, some shirts and a livechat. All bs. BUT they clearly wrote ”text this number to get first acces to merch AND MMLP20 MUSIC coming later this year”. kind of blueballs here, but hey, i can wait another six months or whatever, they confirmed it’s coming, they are just trying to create hype, not releasing it on the actual day, but later this year, also making the music have a ”first access” thing because it is something special, they would never do that with just acapellas and s---. But then, the months went by, no mention of it, and it never dropped.
what happened? Dont blame it on covid, releasing old music digitally requires no human contact. Dont blame it on ”well he decided to record Side B instead” because God forbid he release both? And if he dont want to release both, tell the fans that MMLP20 music is cancelled.

With all this said and done u may say i waited almost two years, and got nothing.

And for the f--s saying there is no unreleased music from Eminem from mid 1998 until april 2000. Yall stupied. U actually believe this?
Theres been around 5-8 tracks confirmed tracks from mmlp only that has not been released. And thats probably only from the ”official mmlp recording sessions” which was a 2-3 months period. Kim was recorded in 1998 and made the album. There might be several other songs made in 1998 or 1999 that could pass as a ”mmlp leftover”. Also, Side B sound nothing like Side A on MTBMB. A mmlp deluxe does not have to sound exactly like the OG.
On top of all this there is so much they can choose to do, there are live recordings, remixes, remastered versions, demo versions, freestyles, u name it. Em saying ”1-2 tracks didnt make the cut” doesnt mean s--- when u take all this into consideration. Im not sure what Em meant but he probably thought of songs from that 2 months period of mmlp recording. Maybe there was only 2 tracks that were considered to make the album, there might have been 10 other recorded songs that were never meant to make the album anyway cause they didnt fit, but might still be good enough for a deluxe.

When someone drops music they want you to focus on what they are doing NOW. They don’t want people to focus on some old s--- they did. This is especially true for Eminem who realizes how people always compare him to his old self and how he used to be better. If you believe mmlp20 music will still come out in the future then that’s fine, it stil could. However, you’re delusional if you thought he was gonna drop unreleased songs plus a whole new album at the same time lol.

I think a release will come when there's nothing on the horizon which could be this year. At the same time it's popular in other genres like pop music and rock and roll to do the big lavish box sets and they have multiple takes and rehearsals and demos and outtakes but rap has always been very closed off. Even in Eminem's hey day or any rappers hey day they rarely let out anything that wasn't on an album, maybe a mixtape would get a track but mixtape tracks tended to be made for the actual mixtape and even for some of the big names from 20 years ago like Fat Joe or Dr Dre or even LL Cool J and artists like Gwen Stefani or Missy Elliott......they're not anywhere now and they released none of that older stuff which tells me they've no intention of releasing anything despite none of them being played on radio today or being familiar to a younger generation. I'd be surprised if Eminem did release anything unreleased.


Having said that there is no doubt plenty of material that was considered for it. I think when Eminem refers to 1 or 2 songs he wanted to release he's meaning the original tracklist which had The Kids and s--- On You on it but they ended up being released anyway. It's a shame no interviewers really ask him these questions, it's quite sad that this along with Relapse 2 and the supposed King Mathers LP and the many songs that have leaked over the years could easily be cleared be up if someone just asked him in an interview, he could answer it all within a few minutes and fans would have the 100% final answer on all of it

No i dont mean release at the same time, i mean for example they could have dropped mmlp20 in say august, and then side b in december. Not that they would be connected on the same project.
When it comes to unreleased songs i think it would be dope with demo versions. Doesnt have to be completely new or how i should call it, like Dear Ronnie or something. Could have been a demoversion of TWIA for example. The lose yourself demo had two verses we never heard before. Might be the case for alot of Ems demosongs.

Oh alright then, yea a few months apart would’ve been okay then. I hope he releases the music on the 21st anniversary or some s--- because it made no sense that he said “mmlp music at the end of the year” unless he cancelled it completely.

Sure, I wouldnt mind if he released it this year, just find it odd cause it wouldnt be ”MMLP20” anymore, it would be ”mmlp21”.. the entire point was to release it in 2020.
