Interesting question. there's so many albums that fall into that 'not quite conventional all-time classics' but I've never stopped listening to since I first heard them. a few off the top of my head:

Kurupt - Tha Streetz Iz A Mutha
    Scarface - Untouchable
Jedi Mind Tricks - Violent By Design
    Cormega - The Realness
    Westside Connection - Bow Down
Ras Kass - Soul on Ice

And more recent ones that I can definitely see reaching that status
YNW Melly - I Am You
    Future - Purple Reign
Gucci Mane - Drop Top Wop
    Young Dolph - Bulletproof
    Maxo Kream - Maxo 187
Pop Smoke - Meet the Woo

I’ve said it before but this project feels like what Em was trying to accomplish with a stack of his recent releases, Start to finish the album delivers.

Pretty much all EC releases from 99-04 are all personal classics, Waterworld being the standout. Allthough not through EC directly Jakki Da Motamouths “God vs Satan” is also great.

Trems “for the rest of his natural life” is the best hip hop album to come out of Australia must listen.

I’d also throw down Rhyme Asylums “state of lunacy”.

Canibus is cool, Time Fly, Life dies, Phoenix rise and 2000 B.C are classics.
