    Thinking about getting into it post-pandemic on the weekends. Boston has a good busking scene and you don't need a permit.

    will probably do some acoustic guitar + singing and maybe some rapping...

    any buskers here with any advice or tips?

    If you're a good singer definitely do singing or some type of melodic rap with acoustic background . No one wants to hear some random doing slam poetry or freestyles on the street. A good voice will attract many people. In vienna there is something called 'Subway stars'. Those are special spots in the subway system where upcoming talents can perform. Good voices tend to gain the most attraction, while rappers only lead to people going faster


    I'd give this man everything I have in my wallet. That's from NY though not Vienna

    I can sing a few styles very well and I'm horrible with other ones lol will stick to what I'm good at (folk, grunge, etc.) And not sing poppy
