Feb 14, 2021this is so true. Besides his first tape most of his solo music has been pretty mid but he's been a huge figure in the game the past 5 years now, even moreso now with all the s--- he's been doing with everyone from Michigan. This song with Vince did stick out to me, one of the better from LB3.

Yacthy and Michigan Rap/Hip-Hop production are two things I never liked apart from one another, but it's like.....now you can't have one without the other. This boy can f---in' flow, too. Came a long way from "1NIGHT".

His music is hit or miss these days but he comes through every once in awhile. I like the song in op, Oprah’s bank account was good, and imo he’s secured himself a spot in hip hop history without a doubt.
Also I feel like he takes up the same space as mac Miller in the sense that he’s such a likeable and charismatic guy. He’s friends with everybody, no real haters and even if you don’t like his music it’s impossible to hate the guy. Just all around fun and good vibesSav Stanfield, Ordinary Joel, Jay Zeus and 1 other person like this. -

Yachty really came a long way. I remember him being the bogeyman of every oldhead and getting a lot of hate (but also love) when he dropped Minnesota.Sav Stanfield, Ordinary Joel, 1999 and 1 other person like this. -

Just realized these were the two biggest figures in the “we f--- that old hip hop s---, I don’t care about that.” Funny that yachty got so much flack for it but for the most part Vince was untouchedSav Stanfield, Ordinary Joel and Chrollo like this.
