Feb 15, 2021Honestly it's only a few rappers where people obsess over their discog having to be close to perfect. Esp older rappers, nobody gives af if Ice Cube is putting out bad albums now, it's expected. He still made a run with three of the greatest albums ever in a row. Save for like, the song Accidental Racist, nobody is giving LL Cool J s--- about his modern output lol. Like I said above too, who cares what DMX releases unless its good. Snoop is still a legend even though he's had tremendous highs and lows after Doggystyle. Even 50, do people really care that his discog after GRODT starts declining? Obv not a good thing but no one is obssessing over it.
Only really like Dre, Em, Jay, Kanye, Kendrick, Drake are people who are really like obsessing over every bad album in their discogs.
