• Barb and Star Go to Vista Del Mar is honestly worth the $20 or whatever to stream. Very silly, like to a throwback to 90s Mike Myers or Will Ferrell kinda + has a ton of heart

I kind of agree with him, but at the same time if you don't like what a comedian is saying, then don't support them. No need to b---- about it online just to get attention for yourself or tag their sponsors trying to get them to drop them because you don't agree with their content.

Joe Rogan always s----d a--- as a comedian, the most memorable thing he did in that entire scene is s--- on Mencia. Makes Chad sick when he tries to do a deep dive into the "craft" of comedy, guy crawls up a stool and repeats 2014 era SJW cringe comp anti-PC s--- that hasn't hit in years

Anthony Jeselnik was the last great misdirection shock humor comic (which is my favorite type of humor) he definitely doesn't get his credit due. Really enjoyed him before the 2016 comedy collapse.

The only time Amy Schumer was funny was when he wrote the jokes she didn't steal from somebody else.

I said the same about a new Chappelle Show in that thread. I'll obviously still watch it and I think it will still have some good skits if they do make it, but there's no way it will compare to the original

Since 2016 I've counted on only 2 podcasts that I have personal connections to to make me laugh.

It's been the Great Depression of American comedy since then.

When I was a baby Johnny Carson was the gatekeeper that stood between a standup and national exposure and fame and fortune... and he knew what was funny and what was bs hackery.

Then David Letterman became the gatekeeper and he had an even better sense of comedy and he elevated the best of the best.

Now for some f---ing reason Joe Rogan is the gatekeeper and he has no idea what is funny and he is promoting cringe... because of Joe Rogan there are lethally unfunny stand ups who should be nothing more than open mic-ers getting Netflix specials and boring a--- podcasts that top the charts with no merit... I see people wearing Brendan Schaub t-shirts... and it makes me want to cry for America.

the two newer seasons of Arrested Development were really dense and smart but something about it just felt forced. It isn't as naturally funny, I'd compare it to running into an old friend and realizing you don't really have that much in common anymore? You're saying all the right things but it just doesn't matter.

If you're a big fan of the original three seasons, you might as well watch. You'll definitely enjoy individual scenes here and there. But overall it's very forgettable and I hope they are done trying to bring it back

There was a point in time when I really thought Kevin hart was funny at this point I put on his new s--- just to cringe. Am I the only one who puts on specials just to see an hour of pure misses? I love seeing a new Katt Williams or mike eps special on Netflix lol.

Yeah... I hated Mencia... a true hack that won the "Chappelle quit his show" lottery and I'm glad Rogan did what he did, which was as brave as a comic could be at the time... which looks like common sense now.

But Joe Rogan wasn't ever funny... then he became Oprah for uninteresting white dudes... who's minds were blown that a karate man smoked weed.

The last time Joe Rogan made me laugh was when he was on Newsradio.
