any yall mfs played fear before? I had a demo disc of 2 as a kid that I always loved to play but I never prioritized purchasing the actual game over other things. I’ve finally been getting around to beating 1 and 2 and I’m having a blast, although the series progression is so weird

like 2 is still easily better than 90% of shooters that came out at the time (think the era of haze, syndicate, bodycount, etc) but it’s a more straight up arcadey s---t em up with mech sequences and color coded enemies whereas 1 is this slow, methodical, tactical shooting/kung fu action horror game

I’d honestly recommend playing them in reverse order cuz other than pure texture quality, everything is more refined in the first game. But they’re both really interesting approaches to FPS horror
