    UPDATE: I want to start getting to the albums that y'all recommended in my last thread but first I just listened to Jay-Z's The Blueprint I don't really know what to rate this album so I tried to go statistically on the percentage of the songs that I enjoyed but that came out to 66% which doesn't feel right so all I can say is that I enjoyed my time with it and from "that n***a jigga" forwards I think the albums hooks and beats got way better

    I also think I'm gonna start listening to the first few DMX albums in memory of him

    Btw I relistened to Zuu @Sav Stanfield and @Donkey Kong Country I was definitely sleeping on it I still don't like it as much as ta13oo but I can see it growing on me a lot if I just give it a couple more spins

    The Blueprint is one of the greatest rap albums of all time, definitely return to that one down the line once you've gotten your feet wet with more rap.

    @Ricky I believe it was you who told me to listen to "it's dark and h--- is hot" by DMX so I did it's a super dope album and there were little to know songs that I didn't at least have fun with! he always seemed to have extremely entertaining delivery with some funny lines but he doesn't skip out in the heartfelt s--- either and I'm excited to listen to more of his projects R.I.P.

    Flesh Of My flesh ties in really nicely with It's Dark narratively so you'll probably like it too.

    if you never listened to this album and you wanna know what it would be like if Linkin Park made the Doom soundtrack then this is the album for you, basically every track is a b-----r. 9/10

    I already made an entire thread about quite liking the Remi Wolf album so imma just post her newest feature, much slower and more melancholic than her other stuff.




    I should be relistening to Happier than ever and TPAB soon so I'll also give my updated thoughts here.

    Kinda long is an understatement lmao, ever since I saw the video for closer for the first time some years ago it kinda turned me off of them but I'll give it a shot when I have enough free time lol
