    Flashing DJ Khalil's monstrous production, Almost Famous is definitely an underrated song off Recovery...Its one of the most thematic beats Eminem has ever chosen and the theme surrounding it was epic...the fiery energy Em brings to this song is incredible...Recovery wouldn't be the same without this dope record

    This song would be vastly improved if he wasnt screaming his lungs out for no reason the entire track. Good song, but one of the worst offenders of the yelling for no reason he was doing on recovery. Imagine this with a normal delivery

    Came here to say this.

    I love the concept of the song and for the most part a love the execution. But the screaming was unnecessary.

    While I do agree he should’ve toned down the yelling, I think it fits the style of the track to some degree, honestly I think what it is is the garbage mixing.. His vocals are d--- near clipping at parts..

    He used to be able to get away with the yelling back in mmlp days but it was just mixed so well that it wasn’t such a pain on the eardrums.

    I have always disliked this song due to the excruciatingly painful screaming & I usually only see praise for it, glad to see others share my sentiments on here.

    One of the better songs on the album and I don't mind the yelling on this one. It fits the tone of the song and the lyrics. I like Khalil beats but it's a shame they're normally mixed like s--- when he works with Eminem.

    It would be a cool song as a standalone, but Recovery as a whole is a very exhausting album. By the time you get to Almost Famous, you've already listened to ~10 overproduced rock stadium anthems with Em screaming. I appreciate the storytelling, the flow and the rhyme schemes, but it's not a song I often return to.

    Been saying this since 2010. One of his greatest songs of all time. Second fav song off the album next to the one with Kobe Bryant. RIP.

    Contrary to the opinions here I love the energy he shows on the track. This is a track where the shouting works imo

    He has a few nice moments and love the beat. The chorus is f---ing awful though and the song is scattered with awful lyrics.

    yeah the shouty & aggresive flow really works on this one.

    Recovery still a good album imo

    Hate recovery for the most part but this song is good. Would be better if he wasnt screaming like he was trying out for a heavy metal lead gig.
