Mar 6, 2021Yeah, you’ll always hear your own s--- as being the best. Once you learn to not, to see your own music objectively, you’ll be in a better place.
Your flow is offbeat. There’s no arguing that. Your syllable count and rhyme patterns don’t match the BPM of the instrumental. Your sentences either end too early, or go too long.
Rapping 101 is learning to flow on beat. It doesn’t matter if your lyrics are the best thing ever written, if you’re not rapping on beat you’re done.
If you have trouble, try emulating other rappers flows. Pick a song you know, write to it using the exact same flow as the original artist, but change the words to your own. It’ll help you learn to stay on beat.
the other option is to find the BPM of a beat and set a metronome to match it. Rap to the metronome.
eventually, the more you practice, it comes naturally. But you have a lot of work to do.

This is the best release I have heard from you. You sound much more confident and I can tell you are passionate about it. This don't seem forced as others you have put out and your flow is getting better. Nice work dude. -
