    Is today the first time this year you pull out “my words are weapon” verse cuz you cycled through all his music recently? I been there. I have finally unlocked part of my brain that allows beams and lasers in. And im here to offer you @StanSXN the same cheat code

    you need to do this in exactly the same steps below. If you skip a step the part that allow beams wont be open

    listen to these three albums in order three times each. You are not allowed to go to the next album untill the three times requirement is done. And it must be in order

    1- pop Smoke - s---t for the stars
    2- Denzel curry - Zuu
    3- xxxten - 17


    Do this. And i promise...you will move on

    its very sad that probably the 3 best newer hip hop artists Juice Wrld,--- & Pop Smoke have all passed away.

    Along with Roddy Rich there the only newer artists I really enjoyed consistently.

    I'm surprised more Em fans aren't on Metro Boomin, his production sound and style is similar to a lot of s--- Em used to (and still does) rap over - big dark, atmospheric bangers. Without Warning, Savage Mode 1 & 2, Drop Top Wop and his solo album are all essentials imo. Especially Without Warning and Savage Mode 2, both got that horrorcore sound that Shady Records used to be on back in the day

    It's definitely good to sit on each album in an artist's discography before moving onto their next album, I like doing that too

    Lil Uzi Vert - Eternal Atake

    They're carti and uzi's best work so far, but they're def harder to get into than their earlier albums. It's like their version of Yeezus where a lot of people hated them at first cuz it sounded different than what they were expecting or used to but people will slowly come around to them over the next year or two (and have already started doing so).

    If you wanna get into them I'd start with LUV vs. the World or LUV is Rage 2 for Uzi. Carti only has three albums so you can start with his self-titled but honestly Die Lit and Whole Lotta Red are so much betterI never listen to his first one. But it's prob easiest to get into cuz it's much closer to "normal" trap than the other two.

    Last few years prob but 14-18 was also amazing. Thug + Future run, 2 chainz mixtape run + PGLTM, Culture 1 + 2, uzi mixtape run + LIR2, Die Lit, Metro album, Astroworld, Gucci’s first few tapes after being released from prison, yachty’s bubblegum trap, Kevin gates...start of thug offshoots like gunna + lil baby come up, lil keed beginnings, NBA youngboy...god d--- so much good stuff

    but also I think it’s of note that two of the best trap albums of all time came out last year that are still pushing the genre (WLR, EA)

    While most of my current list came from @Donkey Kong Country i cant thank @Sav Stanfield enough for allowing me to expand my ears by introducing pop smoke to me. I can honestly say without pop i wouldnt probably listen to most of these young n----s
