Mar 27, 2021He did say Biggie was a better rapper which he was. I could agree Pac changed more than Biggie with his overly dramatic personality. But Biggie is still the better artist by miles

Pac just seems way more poetic and soulful in his raps. Suicidal Thoughts and Sky's The Limit are some of my fave introspective BIG songs but even those 2 combined don't have the emotion of Brenda's Got A Baby or Dear Mama.
And Melle Mel's right about Pac's legacy. Pac's legacy d--- near rivals Bob Marley's with the Pope listening to him, African armies being named after him, sparking the Arab Spring, Putin giving him a shoutout, murals of him everywhere, and lowkey popularizing bandanas on a worldwide scale. Biggie's skilled and actually more influential when it comes to quotables but his legacy just can't compare, especially on a global scale.CJ Poe, Ordinary Joel, Yeez and 2 others like this. -

Melle Mel is definitely a legend and he inspired a lot of artists. However, I don’t think he got the memo that better rappers came out after his run. He’s always had this inflated sense of his lyrical ability. -

He’s obviously wrong, but still an all time legend. -
