    Looking forward to hearing the warrant was for when he was caught with a joint 2 years ago and got in a fight with a classmate was he was 13 so the cops were scared for their life.

    It's all good man. All these cop to black male scenarios hit home for me, so I been paying attention. I'm speaking from experience on what I did to get out of every situation I was in. Every time I was nervous as h---. Every time I was hoping this traffic stop doesn't become more than something it is. Every time I made sure I did what I could to comply and/or do the right thing at the time. And I know doing all those things STILL isn't a guarantee i'm let off with a warning or citation.

    they’re now claiming the officer thought she was firing a taser when she shot him. this means the possibilities are:

    - officers are so stupid or careless they can’t tell the difference

    - police departments think the public is so stupid or carless that this will fly

    - being believable isn’t important because police forces in america have never suffered any meaningful consequences

    The highest crime rates are in the lowest classes, therefore, the safeguard to the police force’s existence is false scarce conditions. If these conditions were to be eradicated, crime rates would drop, ultimately withering away the need for them & incarceration.

    this is how a taser looks that cops use i guess, ugh i dunno..feels like they should know the difference, even the handle/feel has gotta be at least a little different.

    I don’t know if it has started yet, but when things like this happen, people like to dig into the victims history to see if they’ve done ANYTHING wrong in their life... to sort of justify the police brutality... like people using George Floyd’s past robbery and drug use as a justification for his murder. The fact that people will go to such lengths to literally justify police murdering a civilian WITHOUT addressing it AS murder is disgusting.

    luckily most of what I’ve seen said about this kid has been all love... god bless him and his family.

    I’m so sorry you have to deal with that man. It’s a type of fear I’ll never know as a white man...cops already make me nervous enough as is.

    Honestly it’s to the point that any time I see someone get pulled over in my neighborhood while I’m on a walk I stick around with my phone ready to record and watch just in case. It makes me so sad that we’re at a point where I feel like I have to do that; to keep watch on the people who ostensibly are supposed to be protecting and serving us.

    I'm not saying its the right way to look at it. For now until we know there's some sort of reform or legit way of knowing cops aren't f---ing up all the time, this is my way of mitigating my risk of a cop doing something to me.
