    This one hurts. Rob was one of the first rappers I ever met (Prodigy being the first, RIP), he performed at the first Hip Hop show I attended. He was a close friend of someone I knew. He was there for Diddy after Biggie died after The Lox left. I don’t know what Diddy has done for him behind the scenes, maybe he’s done a lot. But it doesn’t appear that way from this side. Either way, he was a cool dude and a legend imo. If Life Story isn’t a classic, it’s not far off from being one.

    RIP, Black Rob was a big part of why I got into rap in the first place. Bad Boy For Life was one of the first rap songs I ever heard, and Life Story was one of the first rap albums I heard in full. I'll bump it tonight in his honour.
