Rock fans hated him before slipknot dude was a laughing stock of rock/metal the second he jumped from rap to pop punk because Em f----- him up. Dissing slipknot as if rock fans wouldn't care legit shows you how little he knows about the genre he's trying to be in. Only soft mushy pop punk fans like mgk even then alot of them don't though.

Ya there is literally not a bad song on this album. They really put a lot of care and passion into this project from front to back and it really shows. And like you said, this album brought me back too the mid 2000s when I was in high school. Even if MGK never makes another album close as good as this I’m happy with the fact he pulled it off once.

And the most amazing thing is that when I listened to the MGK album, I felt like I was back in 2007 in those glorious days when I was a teenager. and I felt like a teenager again.

MGK was able to bring me back in 2007 and I am grateful to him for that. Tickets to My Downfall best album of 2020.

it's a shame that Eminem doesn't realize these days that everyone likes "old Shady" and not Kamikaze (f--- new Em). Eminem lost me as a fan when he released Kamikaze and MGK got me as a fan when I heard Rap Devil.

Main stream rap beefs are super played out and corny af. If people still believe Em will end careers, their stuck in a childish mindset. Em clearly is a better rapper and had the better diss. But MGK is flourishing better than anyone Em has ever beefed with. MGK is winning by a long shot. Since his diss, he’s had multiple awards, a very well received album and is dating Megan Fox. Dude is winning. As someone who was never a fan, I am now and he’s killing it. Em can rap really well but makes overall s--- music.

I was in high school in the mid 2000’s when pop punk/rock was very mainstream which is who the target audience was and with hiphop being stale in the mid to late 2000’s that was my genre of choice. As someone who never liked MGK outside of a couple songs, I love Tickets To My Downfall. I think it’s a modern masterpiece for the type of music it is. They definitely were very careful and passionate about piecing the whole album together from start to finish. I’ve listened to it more times in the last almost year than I’ve listened to a Em album ever except maybe TES.
