    year of the dog isn’t even bad. Being as good as that album is fine. How many years ago was x in his prime. This album is great for what it is

    I know, Year of the dog ain't bad at all. It's a great album. This is more of a compliment to this album.

    This album couldn't have been any better for a 50 year old DMX.

    People be expecting X to sound like he did 20 years ago. If you come in with reasonable expectations this is a phenomenal farewell.

    I’m so happy this album turned out good. I mean , dmx deserved this.

    this isn’t just a regular rap record. It’s DMX’s final effort. His death, this being completed. He entered the game at number one and left the same way. This is by no means the greatest album ever. But such a beautiful close to his legacy.

    Great to see some good comments on this. I'll be pressing play on this in about an hour's time. But with s-----y headphones. Then again on decent speakers when I'm at work.

    Listened to it once in the morning, just ended my first session, I wish there were more DMX verses, but this album wasn't as bad as some people say. I need to spin it a few more times and I'll give my review. Coming tomorrow.

    But f--- that last song hit hard.

    Got better headphones but I'll be cycling for 45mins so need the crappy ones to be aware of what's going on around me. Pretty sure if die with noise cancelling headphones on a bike!

    Also, I'm 100 % sure we will get more DMX songs this year. No way he recorded only a few verses and that's it. It's been a few years since last album, he done some recording in between those years, so we good.

    I know i said this already but they literally chose the worst song on the album for the single.

    If the single was Take Control with Snoop the song would have taken off. Especially since they did Verzus recently.

    Or it could have been Walking in The Rain, Hold Me Down or Skyscrapers. Bath Salts. Any other song could have garnered more attention.

    This got to be the worst marketing team.
